Our story
Registered in June 2023, the Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN) is the first Egyptian entrepreneur network of organizations and experts working together to strengthen and bridge the needs of the entrepreneurial ecosystem for women entrepreneurs.
WEN’s role as an ecosystem builder and the enabler of enablers brings together women entrepreneurs, business leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to celebrate the achievements of women in business and explore strategies to leverage synergies for creating a greater impact.
WEN aims to empower the enablers of women entrepreneurs, helping them scale up their support efforts, increase opportunities for revenue growth and employment, and enhance their efficiency, ultimately building the capacity and impact of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

What is WEN forum?
The WEN forum is a platform to bring together different players and stakeholders of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Egypt that work to enable women-led business and women entrepreneurs at large.
The annual forum seeks to foster a supportive ecosystem that works together for female entrepreneurs to thrive, connect with like-minded individuals, gain valuable insights, and contribute toward building a more inclusive economy.
The WEN forum is open to all ecosystem stakeholders that either work with women or aspire to. This includes incubators, accelerators, business networks, BDSs, mentors and coaches, investors interested in supporting women-led ventures, policymakers shaping entrepreneurship policies, academics researching gender issues in business, and anyone passionate about promoting gender equity in the business world.
Why WEN forum?
Empowerment: provide a platform for ecosystem stakeholders that work on women economic empowerment through entrepreneurship to share their success stories, challenges faced, and lessons learned to inspire empower others.
Knowledge sharing: Facilitate knowledge exchange through peer to peer learning in panel discussions, and networking sessions on topics such as leadership, innovation, resource mobilisation, gender mainstreaming and sustainability.
Capacity Building: Offer workshops and mentorship opportunities to help women develop essential skills needed for coaching other women for business growth and sustainability.
Advocacy: Advocate for policies that support gender equity in entrepreneurship and create a conducive environment for women-led businesses to thrive.
What to expect?
The forum is a one-day event that will feature keynote speeches from prominent leaders, interactive panel discussions with the tools and strategies to better serve women entrepreneurs, networking opportunities for collaboration and partnerships, mentorship sessions, and a pitch competition.
